1529年的今天,施派尔议会以多数票重申《沃尔姆斯敕令》,禁止路德宗。六位诸侯和十四座自由城市没有沉默,他们联名提出正式抗议。那一声「抗议」,后来成了一个名字——Protestant,新教徒。今天,「抗议」仍是所有变革的第一声啼哭。
抗议者之名,即新教徒之名。
